Set along the Banghoekrivier in the heart of Stellenbosch, MolenVliet Vineyards is a luxury wine estate, known for its Cape Dutch architecture, mountain views and five-star boutique accommodation.
A large-span SUNFLEX SF25 was installed to enhance one of the estate's outdoor spaces, creating a more versatile setting that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. When open, the panels slide, turn and stack neatly, preserving uninterrupted views across the surrounding landscape and allow the outdoors in. When closed, the system provides protection from cold, rain and wind while maintaining the character and openness of the space.
The frameless glass enclosure provides a considered modern addition to the historic Cape Dutch architecture, combining contemporary finishes with the existing architectural character without overwhelming it.
