Set into the forested slopes of the Constantia mountains, this contemporary home is surrounded by indigenous planting, mature trees and uninterrupted views across the landscape. Natural materials, generous volumes and warm timber accents give the architecture a sense of calm that feels deeply connected to its setting.
Two distinct outdoor spaces were fitted with SUNFLEX SF25 Frameless Glass Stacking Systems, each extending the architecture into the landscape in its own way.
The first patio forms a natural extension of the main home, opening directly onto the indigenous garden. With the SF25 panels stacked away, the patio becomes an open-air continuation of the living space, with uninterrupted views through the garden towards the mountains and forest beyond.
A second SF25 installation spans the full frontage of a separate entertainment area, set against a striking combination of architectural concrete and timber. When opened, the frameless glass virtually disappears, leaving the dramatic architecture and surrounding forest as the focus. When closed, the space becomes a protected extension of the home without losing its connection to the landscape.
Across both spaces, the SF25 provides the flexibility to move effortlessly between open-air living and a more sheltered environment, while its frameless design preserves the views and architectural character of this exceptional Constantia home.
