Lite or Full Security: What’s the Difference?

The Lite Security Shutter — think of it as the estate-living option — offers the privacy, ventilation and light control that make shutters such a useful addition to a home. A convenient thumbturn lock keeps everyday operation simple, throwing a locking pin up AND down like the full security, while lighter internal security components suit homes where other security measures are already in place.

The Full Security Shutter adds more substantial internal security components and a 1.2-ton breaking strain. This all comes down to the internal assembly, using 6x75mm screws into every reinforced louver, the strength of our security range is unmatched. So the choice comes down to the level of protection your home requires.

And the appearance? The only visible difference is the lock. Choosing your level of security doesn’t mean having to choose a different look. This also allows you to increase your security for high risk areas, while having the lighter option for upstairs, without compromising the look overall.
